Conference Overview

About the Conference

Welcome to the 9th annual Current Concepts in Vascular Therapies Mid-Atlantic Conference in picturesque Virginia Beach. The symposium will offer up to 11.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ as well as maintenance of certification (MOC) credits. The sessions will be led by regional and national experts on a broad spectrum of vascular pathologies and directed towards healthcare professionals caring for patients with these conditions. A multidisciplinary panel of speakers from vascular surgery, vascular medicine, interventional radiology, and other specialties will provide state of the art updates on cutting-edge developments in open and endovascular approaches to treatment. Topics will include peripheral arterial disease, aortic and visceral arterial aneurysms and dissection, novel techniques for complex venous problems, cerebrovascular disease and dialysis access. Question and answer sessions, expert debates and panel discussions will help fulfill our mission of excellent patient care and high level education for healthcare professionals. We hope you are able to join us this spring at the beach.

Accreditation

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of Eastern Virginia Medical School and Sentara Vascular Specialists. Eastern Virginia Medical School is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Credit Designation

Eastern Virginia Medical School designates this live activity for a maximum of 11.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

This symposium, for the Current Concepts of Vascular Therapies 2019 Mid-Atlantic Conference, will be submitted for ARRT A+ CE approval by the Association for Vascular and Interventional Radiographers (AVIR). AVIR is an approved RCEEM through the ARRT.

American Academy of Family Physicians

Application for CME credit has been filed with the American Academy of Family Physicians. Determination of credit is pending.

Virginia Board of Medicine

Physicians may claim up to (11.5 hours) in Type 1 or Type 2 CME on the Virginia Board of Medicine Continued Competency and Assessment Form required for the renewal of an active medical license.

Fees

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be made in writing prior to Friday, April 19, 2019 in order to receive a refund. A $50.00 administrative service charge will be assessed on all cancellations. No refunds will be given after this date.
