Mark your calendars for the 13th Annual Current Concepts in Vascular Therapies Conference in picturesque Virginia Beach. The symposium has been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ and will offer ABS Continuous Certification credits. The sessions will be led by regional and national experts on a broad spectrum of vascular pathologies and directed towards healthcare professionals caring for patients with these conditions. A multidisciplinary panel of speakers from vascular surgery, vascular medicine, interventional radiology, primary care and other specialties will provide state of the art updates on cutting-edge developments in open and endovascular approaches to treatment. Topics will include peripheral arterial disease, aortic and visceral aneurysms and dissection, novel techniques for complex venous problems, cerebrovascular disease and dialysis access. Question and answer sessions, expert debates and panel discussions will help fulfill our mission of excellent patient care and high level education for healthcare professionals. Learning objectives

Upon completion of this program, participants should be able to:

  1. Recognize disease processes and diagnostic testing and treatment for a variety of vascular diseases
  2. Identify pathophysiology of vascular disease so providers will know when patients do and don’t need a vascular referral
  3. Analyze complex and unusual disorders to make appropriate diagnosis

Accreditation

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of Macon and Joan Brock Virginia Health Sciences at Old Dominion University and Sentara Vascular Specialists. Eastern Virginia Medical School is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

American Board of Surgery’s Continuous Certification

Successful completion of this CME activity enables the learner to earn credit toward the CME requirement(s) of the American Board of Surgery’s Continuous Certification program. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit learner completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABS credit.

Registration will be closed on Thursday, March 20, 2025.

Fees

The registration fee includes tuition for the entire educational symposium, daily breakfast, break refreshments, Thursday evening Welcome Reception, Friday lunch, and the Friday evening Networking Session.

Cancellation policy

All cancellations must be made in writing prior to Sunday, March 16, 2025 in order to receive a refund. A $50.00 administrative service charge will be assessed on all cancellations. No refunds will be given after this date or for “no shows”.
